This is a demo of the Lazy Load Blocks plugin. This page has a video embed further down the page which is set to lazy-load. You can use this page to perform any performance measurements and test the functionality of the plugin.

Lazy-Loaded Paragraph

This paragraph is set to lazy-load. The wrapping placeholder <div> doesn’t pre-allocate any vertical space for the block content because we can’t reliably measure it in different viewport contexts (mobile, tablet, desktop). Some blocks like images and videos maintain the aspect ratio when scaling but some actually become shorter (like paragraphs or lists).
